I'm doin' this for my own selfish reasons.

It's been said that you may not be able to change the world, but...
you can tweak the corner you're in!!!!!!!!!!

Now,

I want every last person in the Chapter from Broken Arrow/Coweta/
Wagoner/Bixby area to do this here:

Sound off- post under this topic:

We need to locate meeting places for all of us. So, chime in and tell me
where. This can be as informal as it gets. A restaurant or coffeeshop is good.
Somewhere in your town. For me? I'm in Broken Arrow- does Duffy's on Elm
and 81st sound agreeable? If not tell me. Jimbare in Wagoner will take the
suggestions for there and Coweta. I'll cover Bixby too. These are our necks of the woods for me and Jim, and both of us will be there.

Let's hammer down a location. Then we'll work on times. Now that y'all
have something to do, get busy. I'll be going through the Chapter Roster
topic and emailing all of you. So give me a hand and get in touch with others too.

I want to see a bunch of y'all at Duffy's here real soon. And a few other places.

RomerB2 01-10-2005 11:06 PM

I guess I could go lol, but I need to know when, because I work at Walgreens at 111th and Memorial and scheduling is a hassle.

White_Knight 01-11-2005 01:31 AM

So far...

Donsboy and RomerB2,

Thanks for the reply back! Will be back in touch for when, and
Romer, name your time- I'll come out to you! Great to hear from
you both!

One of our Broken Arrow folks "Blueislandedge02", SPC Isaac Veron
emailed me too. He is in Iraq, and will be until next year. He hopes
that we'll be able to meet when he gets back and sends us his
greetings. Isaac, we salute you and pray for your safety and health
until you are returned to home. Indeed, may God bless all our guys
and gals who are standing that hard line not only for the freedom of
others, but for us as well!

Well folks, don't stop now. Isaac emailed me from Iraq. Where are you?
Stand up and sound off! :-X25

Well, seeing as I graduated from BA (a long time ago) 8D, I guess I could come and visit the old stomping grounds. Just name the time and place. One of the trucks will get me there. (Just remember to call me Stan!)

jwtimme 01-12-2005 04:00 PM

I'm from Sapulpa, BA is not too far away when are you going to meet I could make it if I'm in town since school takes up most of my time. Though stillwater is not too bad of a town.

Traxxis 01-12-2005 08:26 PM

I'm in (provided time permits) so long as you are wishing to include the Northeastern region.

no reason everyone statewide cant come, just called it that because that was the closest area. course he did leave out tulsa and surrounding area, but yep anyone can come.

RomerB2 01-13-2005 11:00 PM

Haha if we make it state wide then maybe others will hear, and then they'll make the national meet in BA or Tulsa lol. Webmaster still hasn't decided where to make it yet, but would be pretty funny if it were here.. they've passed around the idea.

I'm so vain...

I think it should be a collaborative effort between
Oklahoma and Kansas. That's my thought on the
matter.

Now for the next part.

I want everybody to pick a time. The most possible time you could
stop for maybe an hour for coffee/drinks and tall tales. If it means
bringing your wife/husband and children, well, bring them too. After
all, this IS family-oriented.

Even if it's over different days this can work. Not all of us can hook
up on the same day, and that's cool. Put down a time and day, and let's
see where everyone's at with this thang... :-X06

Wishing? That's real lightly put.
I include the entire U.S. (and respective
territories and commonwealths too hee hee).

Besides, yer th' guest o' honor, an' our illustrous Pootentayte- :-X24 I mean Fearless Leader. Not to mention the keynote speaker. :-X10

You're definitely in. Up to yer eyeballs. :-X03

Fantasy Island Rerun...

Now what was that little quote by Ricardo Montalban?

Not the one about "fine Corinthian leather".

Oh yes...

Right before the folks get off the plane and the grass-skirted girls sway
exotically and the tropical muzak plays Mr. Rourke (aka Ricardo) says:

"Smiles, everyone!!! Smiles!!!"

you can count me in provided my work schedule permits, and PLEASE don't try working this in around my schedule, I don't think anything could EVER happen if you did. Just name the time and place and I'll try to make it. I have yet to make a trip outside of OKC with the old beast.
