Waxing in the extreme cold

First off, this is NOT a good idea! Yesterday I took the 92 Flareside to the car wash, and when it dried it had tons of water and soap spots on it. This afternoon I decided to try and wax it to get those spots off of it. This did not work very well! The wax started freezing to the truck, and it was very hard to get it off. I finally got it cleaned off after being out there for a little over an hour. It's not the best wax job I've ever done, but the truck does look better than it did before I started. My hands DID get frozen while I was outside. The lesson to be learned here is: Do not wax your truck when there are sub-zero wind chills.

John,
Washing any vehicle in the cold sub zero is not a good idea, let alone waxing it.......
