harley hp tq. numbers

Hi, I don't own a harley davidson edition F-150, but I was wondering if anyone knows some hp and tq numbers for maybe a '99, '00. I raced one at a light a few years ago and it had to be brand new or a year old or so, I'm guessin' on the year. I was just curious because I had my 75 F-150 with a 460 that was all stock then and I was gettin beat by about a hood length. I later had my truck checked because it was runnin kind of odd. Turns out my friend that messed with my timing for me had the timing at 32 degrees advanced and the coil hooked up backwards.. what the hell.. lol. Anyway. it just got me curious because I saw a newer one today and it brought that memory up.

yeah, if it was an older one they wern't SC.....the 02 and 03 were supercharged...they were i think 350 HP and 400 ft/lbs....i think....the older ones were a stock 5.4 at i think 260 or so

Ok, cool. Thanks. That would explain why I didn't get my ace handed to me. I'm sure if it had been a SC one, I would have been a little bit more behind. Guess I have something to look forward to when I get my engine back in a couple weeks. I'm hoping for around 400hp/500lbft. on the dyno.. Sea level of course. I'm at about 3700ft, so it's gonna be a bit lower than that. Anyway, I guess I'll be able to have some fun with the Harleys and maybe the Lightnings.... and those stupid 300zx turbos.. god I hate those. Can't even keep up with a near 30 year old truck :D Oh.. btw... would a SC Harley or Lightning be able to outgun a Dodge 1500 RumbleBee? those throw back 1500's with the rumblebee paintjobs and the 345hp Hemi's.

from what i have heard.....the lightening will take a rumble bee....i'd have to say with HP numbers that it would be a shoot out driver wise with the harley.....but it's easy to make the harley fast....pully, chip, cold air and bye, bye rumble bee

rubble bee < Lightning. 2 times, both times they were not even close. The SRT's are fast but the drivers alway seem to miss-shift.
THe rumble bees' look allright but the rumble bee is like the Mark III conversion Boss 5.4 F-150s that were out a few years ago(all show, no go). I hate those things because people race them thinking they are lightnings, then run their mouth saying they beat an L'. Oh well.
The N/A Harleys (pre 02) are usualy just supercabs wheras the S/c ones (02-03) are s-crews.
The 02-03 Harley had basicly the same motor as the L' except they have a diffrent pulley setup and thus only get 6 lbs of boost vs the L's 8 lbs stock. Harleys are rated at like 360 HP +400~ tq. The L is 380hp, 450 lb tq.

cool, i'm very serious about buying a 03 Harley....i think they are the coolest truck around....first thing i'm doing is getting that L pully to get a few extra ponies out of the truck....i thought the rumble bee was a POS....all show and no go is right.....i'm driving a 5spd 4.6L 01 black stepside and i was keeping up with one on the highway.....haha, and my truck is pretty slow....for a truck ;)....look out when i have the harley

yeah.. i love messin' with people on the highways. especially with the way my truck looks. they look at it and it's like.. wth is that pos tryin to do. can't wait to get my new motor in it this next week.. god.. going from a rated 237hp/365lbft. in 75 to like 400hp/525lbft. is gonna be a welcomed change. now all i need is an OD of some sort. i was really ****ed when i was tryin to keep up with a porsche on the freeway and he pulls away cause i'm at 3rd gear turning 5 grand and i have no more gears to go. that guy musta been doin 150-160. crazy crap. i got to maybe 130 and that's all she wrote for my tranny.. no more gears to go to. not like i coulda kept with him anyway, but it was the thought that counted. are the harley's and L's governed? i know my dad's '99 silverado is governed at 98mph.. and i know it could do a crap load more than that. i also heard that the dodge ram srt-10 has a top speed of 148 or so.. is that governed?

The Lightning's are governed at <150 around 148, its easy to fix with a predator programer. The ford GT is even governed at 205. the srt-10 is said to go 7 mph faster than a bone stock lightning top end, like 155 (so just barely faster) but it really dosen't matter I bought A lightning. Boost is addictive.
