Our little Illinois Chapter.....
 

I would like to tell alll of you new to FTE thank you for checking us out.
I was new to the area when I first joined FTE and we decided to start an Illinois chapter. Not knowing the area, I followed maps and went to the first meeting.
Being that I am a woman alone in a "new world" persay, I had my reservations.
I have gone to every meeting since and will tell you, that the members are a great bunch of people. Try coming to a couple of the meetings before you decide that it's too far or what if it rains or the weather turns bad. Granted, we are small so far. But our hearts are in the right place.

I agree with Carol!

Carol as well as the Chapter officers welcome all interested members to the Chapter site as well as to our meetings.

We encourage everyone to take the time to attend a Chapter monthly meeting.

We continue to move our monthly meetings to meet the needs of the Chapter members.

At the December meeting we discussed and support members attending two meetings to get to know everyone and to offer us meeting locations and information to schedule a good meeting with ample space, etc.

It is our desire to accomdate as many members as is possible at any meeting.

What we ask is your participation to help expand our meeting locations and involvement in the Chapter.

We have been discussing a Spring/Summer show/picnic in Illinois.

We have been in contact with the Iowa and Missouri Chapters to set up a Midwest meeting.

We are also in contact with members of the state of Indiana to set up another state to state meeting.

This is YOUR chapter, offer us YOUR suggestions, take part in YOUR chapter event planning and meetings. YOUR input is critical to our success as a chapter.

With out YOUR being an active part, the Officiers and Chapter members don't know what you want or expect. Be a part of the Chapter and we all benefit.

We welcome ALL manner of Ford Motor Company "trucks". You need not own a truck to be invloved.

I'm so glad that I went to that first IL Chapter meeting back in Sept.! Meeting you has truly been the best thing that has ever happened to me!!
