Dual exhaust for an 82 F250???
Does anybody know of a bolt-on aftermarket dual exhaust for an 82 F250 4wd with a 351w?

I know that it would've cost me 600 bucks for a 2.5" dual eaxhaust (with 3.5" tips too) on my 82 flareside, but i went with the 3" single instead.

You can check flowmaster, its got cat back exhausts, I dont have mag on hand but I know they have them for 150s with the 351. I saw that in a Jegs.

you truck probably has a 351M not a W. On my '85 f250 with a 351W, I swapped on '87+ manifolds and the '87+ y-pipe (2 1/4"). |
a local exhaust shop should be able to make a set for you. i had my exhaust done at a shop here in town and i paid 180 and got a single in dual out muffler and pipeing from the motor back. My advice would be to shop around if you have more then one shop near you and see what they charge.

I also have an 82 F-250 extended cab 4x4 powered by a 351W. I have not found any aftermarket bolt on dual exhaust kits. You can get headers, but the flange on the collector will rub on the front driveshaft. Not really a big deal, you can have the flange cut off and weld the exhaust pipe right to the collector. Go to any muffler shop, and they can fabricate a set up for you.

Well a dierect bolt on would be very hard to come across, I havent seen any and yes Ive looked. I know summit and jegs sell a universal dual system for cars and trucks with headders but ford kinda make it tricky to get over or under the xmember without a few custom bends. I'd suggest you find yourself a small muffler shop and have them setup your system.

Why run shorties, when you can go full length. When I bought the truck it had full length headers on it. The flange had rubbed on the front driveshaft for years before I owned the truck. It is not a big deal, nothing happened to the driveshaft. But, like I said, you can cut the flange off and weld the exhaust to the collector.
