Reliable Garages/Mechanics/Body Shops
 

Apologies in advance if this is already answered somewhere but I have searched and could find nothing.

Mostly I was curious about the what people in Calgary have to say about garages, mechanics and body shops in town.
I recently moved here, just in July, and was looking for word of mouth on places so that I might check them out. I'd love to do most of the work myself if I can find a co-op shop/ time rent shop since for until I manage to get settled in and get a place with a garage I am without a place to work on my truck.

Any names, suggestions are greatly appreciated guys and gals.
Also I'm glad I found this place. Lots of good info and knowledgable people. Nice to meet you all.

Also I couldn't find any info on any swap meets going on in Alberta anytime soon. Perhaps I looked in the wrong area ( https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/calendar.php ) but then again perhaps not. If I was in the wrong area can someone point it out.

I know that there is a huge swap meet going on in Red Deer in the second week of feburary.

The Calgary swap meet is anyday if it hasn't already happened.

For things in Alberta/BC ,look in the sticky thready in this forum.
