Sorry to hear that. I've been there three times, twiced keyed and a big dent in the passengers bed without a note.

I guess I'm going to keep my tailgate locked. Sorry to hear about the dent. I have a body man that does work on the side down the street from me. He painted my Mark VIII, and when I get the Mach 1 completed (soon) he's painting that too. Send a pic of the gate.

I'll post one this weekend soon as i get some time to do it. I did manage to get some of it out but still a little dent there. a Toilet plunger works wonders some times. I had taken the back plate off hoping to maybe be able to tap it out but that cant be done. I'm just surprised it didnt chip the paint or anything.

OW!

You could probably skim that with bondo... doesn't look that deep, at least from the pictures.

I did basically the same thing, only my dent was in the left rear bumper. I was so mad at myself I went out and bought a new bumper, $550.00 that's one mistake that I will not do again.

Not sure where your from in New Jersey but I use a body shop called Boggs auto rebuilders in woodburry right off rt.45 they have a fellow that does paintless ding repair that really does some good work. He could probably get that out for around a $100.00 just an FYI.
