new carb awesome, heres a burnout video

hey i got my new carb installed and my new 390 has finally come to life. so i took the wife out to the powerstation road and had her use the digitial camara to make a video. sorry there is no sound but just imagine a 390 with duals kicking out a beautiful tone. because that is what she does now. hopefully this link works to take you directly to my website where there is a link to the video at the top of the page.. it is about 3.9 megs long and takes a few seconds to open for broadband users and a little slower for dial up, and i hope you enjoy it. i sure did.

yeah she rocken' now i only held it for a minute , but i could have held it there easy all day, or until the tires blew. but those are those 10ply tires and i didnt want to tear them up very much, i trading them in next weekend for new tires and rims.

Bronco? thats too heavy, we had a guy from around here bring his sammy upto the races last sunday with a 390, and nitrous :-X10 but a bronco with a 390 would be fun.
Fordlover glad to here you finally got that thing running right, I knew you could do it those 390s will really roast tires in fact the last one I had that was my main problem was keeping rear tires on the truck :-X22

I never did a burnout , how do you keep the truck still? if you hold the brakes dosn't that also hold up the rear tires? lol its a stupid question i know.

fellro86 10-22-2004 09:02 PM

If you have enough power, it overrides the brakes.

The 'Professor' says I haven't posted in over two weeks and the 'Skipper' says we'll never get off this island unless I help out and post , so I put a picture of my cannon in my gallery for a reason to post a message.
