Offer on new F150 fx ..any good? Jeff?

First off I am new and accidentally posted this orginally in the welcome area, dumb me. Sorry for the repeat but thought I'd attempt to put it in the right thread lol!!

I was offered 2004 fx f150 that has an msrp of 34740 after options for 27896.00 What do you think ..is that a good deal? Essentially the truck cost ford a total of 27601.00 including d&d and options. So they will be making only 295.00 over cost. Sounds good or am i missing something?

Thanks so much for your help with others you are very outright and imformative, much appreciated!!!!

Thanks,
Tom R

That depends. Did the $27896 include the $1500 Ford Credit rebate? Does the truck have power seat, power adjustable pedals AND power sliding rear window (all 3)? If "no" to both of those questions, then it's a pretty good deal, enough so that I wouldn't go shopping any further. But if that includes the $1500 Ford Credit and $533 Power Package incentives, then they're making a WHOLE lot more than $295.

Thanks heres the info

Options included are the following:

lt 275/65rx18 owl all -terrain

bright tubular running boards

sliding rear window

trailer tow package

am/fm stereo/6-cd in dash

18" machined aluminum Wheels

35.7 gallon fuel truck

The deal doesnt include the financing. I am going thru a friend that knows a salesman ..I would like to take advantage of that 1500 finance deal but I have no JOB and from what I've been told that will not fly!! I am going to pay cash for the vehicle.

Hey thanks so much for your response you are a class act and I hope you are making a killing selling. You are one of a kind!!

He dosn't seem like the typical car dealer does he:-X22 I always buy from Paul Clark Ford in Massachusetts and its always a hassle but I like the service dept and its close to home. I will never buy another truck without calling him first cause I could drive to NY nad pick one up from him;) It would be easier than fighting with my dealer
