what sort of driveline parts? im working part time for a scrap yard and could probably aquire some good parts. where are you located?

I was just looking back, and saw you need some tires. What size? I may be able to help you out, depending on size. I have plenty of 16" available.
|
I'm West of Des Moines about 20 minutes. Need a replacement for an AOD tranny and need torque converter too. Was also thinking about an I6-300 carbed for a project. Not sure how well that would work on a scrapyard trade as they usually get $$ for good. Like most, I'm long on projects : ) I've been fighting GM and Farmall tractor problems lately. I'd be trading most anything for a good hydraulic pump for a Farmall 400! As far as tires go, I can only use 15" right now. 235/75/15.

I may be able to help with the tires, have to talk to a friend of mine up to Cedar Rapids, may have something. I have and AOD from a 81 T-bird, if that would work, not sure of what you're trying to fit. Came behind a 302.
|
GOOD Tires are probably the best for me to trade for actually - good thought Roger. Tires on rims are better yet. I have steel rims with bad tires - sure would like good tires already on rims. 80's to early 90's stock chrome rims are better yet. I have other stuff too - 1 ton dually 3.73 axle and springs, 351M that has been, painted, new factory rebuilt carb, new headers, tuneup parts, new clutch, and a T-18, useable cab, cab corner repair panels. (Sheesh TOO many projects). Still have a 302, dual tanks, controls, etc. I'd take reasonable cash offers too.

AOD would be for the 302 in my 83 F100.

Looking at a friend's 15x10 Aluminum modular rim's tomorrow John. If they don't look bad...I might be closer to those tires. I don't know..have to see.

If I could sell my fiberglass tonnaue cover or some of my big truck toys I would buy them in a heartbeat but $$ is tight  |
If your truck was a Flareside I'd consider it, sorry man!
As I said..it'd be 500 dollars for the lift kit, 120 bucks for rims..plus 300 for the tires. Alot of bucks =( |

1997 f250 hub cap's I have 4 for a 4x4 well sale or trade for ?
I also have a tail gate for a 1997 f250 blue green |
Lifted78,
I haven't gotten an e-mail from you yet. Let me know so I can get some money sent. We are training our replacements right now so I might not have internet access much after this week. Thanks, MOSES |
well, after the weekend, I now need a replacement rim for my car trailer. It is built on a 74 Winnebago frame, and it has the funky RV trailer rims of the day, with the 4 bolt star patern, and lug bolts, rather than nuts. May have to get a pic if any of you have something like it. 14" preferably, and 2 would be great. While I'm at it, anyone have 4 14.5 rims and tires, rim clamp style? have need for such so I can do a project for a friend.
