Changing plugs

I just bought some Denso plugs but I can't seem to find a socket that will take out the stock plugs. They are recessed into the head quite a bit.

Does this take a special tool?

Thanks,
Jon

Thats odd, I use a regular spark plug socket(with rubber insert
) to remove my plugs.

Same as above ^.
Standard spark plug socket = no problems for me.
:-huh

I didn't try one of those. I figured a regular sized socket would work. Maybe the walls are too thick compared to the plug socket with the rubber in it. Thanks for the help.

You are using a long socket right? Not a short socket?

LMAO...uhhh...yeah.

Well if you do end up using a regular socket, be careful. The rubber insert helps to keep them from cracking. Cracking one of those new plugs would not be fun.:-arrgh

uhhh..no. They aren't cheap. They are Denso's so cracking one of them would be a costly mistake.

Thanks,
Jon
