Anyone have 4:10 gears?
Im Thinking Of Geting Some Gears And Was Wondering What Kind Of Results People Were Geting At The Track With 4:10s.

I have em and love em! With a 4# pulley and typical bolt ons, no chip, 12.75 @ 106mph uncorrected ET at 1300 ft+- in AZ heat.

You would definitely see better times with the 4.10s, and I would imagine that it wouldn't hurt mileage very much (who cares it sucks gas anyway lol)... |
I drive my L everyday with the 4.10's and havent seen any problems for almost a year now. Mileage decrease was very little. Maybe a mile to the gallon, if that. Makes for some serious fun at the stoplights tho...

Will you run out of gearing with the 4:10 once you get into 11's ?

4:10's are too much for these trucks. It's like using a 26" tall tire rather than a 28" tall but more extreme. You want to keep the revs lower where it is still making power.

where did you guys with 4.10's get them from and who is the manufacturer. i have a 4wd and want to switch over. im looking for a good place to buy.
