Friday Cruise Nites, Tinley Park,IL
There is a pretty good cruise nite at the Stake 'N Shake located on RT.43 (Harlem Ave.) about a block south of 159th ST in Tinley Park,IL on Friday night from 6 PM to ?? They usually get at least 150 classic cars/trucks. Not many Ford trucks, though! Last week, out of 150+ cars, there were only 4 Ford trucks. Not a very good percentage! Weather permitting, I'll be there this Fri. I think I'm going to bring my 77 F100 flareside this week. It would be really cool to see more Ford trucks there!

I agree John, the Tinley Steakn Shake usually has a good crowd up there. I used to that my 1969 Fairlane 500 station wagon up there and meet old friends. I may drop bye to check things out. The showcase classics site has les cruise nights/etc. that years past but a quality turn out.
Now if I could get my oldest and youngest Son's project cars done, it would a project truck for me. |
Fastronald, is your 69 Fairlane wagon blue? Is it kinda jacked up in back? If it is, I have seen your car at some local cruise nites over the last couple of years.

Yes..........that was me.....dark blue, Cragar S/S wheels and all. I sold that car about a year ago now.

I decided not to go to Stake 'N Shake tonight because there was a chance of rain. Maybe I'll go next Fri., I'll have to wait and see what the weather looks like.

My oldest Son wants to take his 94' Cougar XR/7 up there for a cruise night soon. Let us know when you decide to go and if nothing else, I'll drive the old trusty 93' Vicki there to say Hi.

If it's nice out next Friday, I'll be there.
|
I'll be there tonight with my 77 flareside. I'm going to try and get there around 7 PM.
