Air suspension and steering?

Hey guys, it's been a while but my question is air suspension and steering.

I've done modification and changed my front suspension from lls to rancho 9000 months ago. The rear suspension still has the air bags and still uses the pump. Normally I get the hieght that I want turn of the air suspension and leave it alone. Recently went on a journey to a place called sagada. Anyway rain, bad roads, bumps, etc, decided to turn my air suspension back on to lift the rear (by the way also have a damper for the front). The min I turn it on my steering became much better. Stuck to the road like glue, compaired to it being off. I hugh defference. Turned it off and crap handling.

My question, does the air suspension have anything to do with the steering? Even now on normal roads I get much better handling with the LLS on then without. Question is why? Anyone noticed that?
