P0358 Ignition Coil H Primary/sec Circuit Error
 

Ok, just changed the plugs in my 99 F150 w/ the 5.4 engine. I followed the directions to the letter that I was given from this site. Now I'm getting that code and a rough idle. How do I know which coil is labeled "H"? I need to fix this tonight. Have to go to work tomorrow in it. HELP, HELP, HELP!!!!!! :'(

Never mind everyone. The coil wire to the #8 cylinder was not plugged in all the way.

Anyway, I figured this out.

right bank, front to rear

#1 cyl, coil A
#2 cyl, coil B
#3 cyl, coil C
#4 cyl, coil D

left bank, front to rear

#5 cyl, coil E
#6 cyl, coil F
#7 cyl, coil G
#8 cyl, coil H

May not be news to some, but I couldn't find the i.d. anywhere on this site. If it's there, I couldn't find it. If it's not, now it is. I hope it helps someone!!!
