Weather Striping

I Am Trying To Replace The Weather Striplng On The Doors Of My 1965 F-100. I Have Lmc Kit. Do I Put Bottom Nails In First?

I just finished this job on the drivers side door. I found it easy to start at the bottom since the plastic plugs must line up with the holes. This gave me a good starting point. Make sure you lay it out first and know where the curvey bits line up around the corners.

I glued about 18 inches at a time and made sure to stretch the weather stripping everso slightly to thin it out (may make it easier to close when all finished.)

When I was all done, the door didn't close tightly, but after a few hot days I was able to slam it shut and assume this will get easier with time.
Good Luck

As suggested,I would start at the bottom as well. But when you start running up the doors, line up the curved parts that meet with the beltline on the door fronts. These are good points to use. Also, the small clips used to hold the rubber in place are easily broken, so take your time.
