Newbie here. Looking for people in SE.
I live in Rochester and just wondering if there is anyone down in these parts. I am new to trucks and to wrench turning. WARNING!! So I would be a bit of a pain when it comes to asking for help.
So if anyone is around to shoot the breeze and talk trucks give a shout. |

I live in Winona. I have a '59 shortbed stepside. I suppose you're interested in the '53 - '56 trucks like most of the hobbyists are. I'm certainly no expert about anything truckwise, but occasionally I do know the answer to something. (And sometimes my answer is even correct!)

There's a get-together each summer in Winona, but this year's edition has already happened. The Twin-City F-100 Club holds the Mid-west F-100 Nationals in Winona during the second weekend in June. It's at Lake Park and is a very nice time. Supposedly it's for Ford trucks from '53 to '72, but anyone who is interested is welcome. Some people don't have trucks, or don't bring them because they are not roadworthy. Usually about 60 - 75 trucks attend. There are five members of that club here in Winona, but none from Rochester that I'm aware of. I can put you in touch with the club, if you like.
There's also an event at Wisconsin Dells later in the summer, which is sponsored by the Badgerland F-100 Club. I've never been to that meeting, and I don't know exactly when it is. I could find out if you're interested. Rob |
i wouldn't mind more info on that club, when i am up n running i plan on goin everywhere, which should be real soon.

To Innecity4wheelin:
To find out about the Twin City F-100 Club, call Larry Meyer. He's the Membership Director. Phone number is (952) 472-4109. Telll him you found out about the club from Rob in Winona. Rob |
Thanx Rob. I think I might give a call too. Are they partial to the old metal or will 70's be ok?

mankato here
if you you're ever around lok for any Bronco with my BRONCOHOLIC sticker in the winshield. |
Funk,
The club is focused mainly on the older trucks, especially '53 - '56. I see that the newest truck in the members list is a '63. However, the meeting in Winona is advertised as being for trucks from '53 - '72. So, use your own judgement about whether to call. I really don't know what to say. What year do you have? Rob |
