Heat and A/C doesn't work right on 97 explorer
 

I have a 97 eddie bauer explorer the heat and a/c doesn't work right. When heat is on it blows cold air. A/c blows hot air. Then when I switch back to heat the heat works but the a/c still blows hot air. I brought to the dealer and they said it was the self test button that was stuck. He unstuck it and now it is doing the same thing. Does anyone know where that button is? Or what the problem is?

it sounds like the blend door issue, the majority I've seen have been on 97's. Scroll down the Explorer board and you'll see more about it :-X22

If there is so many problems with the blend door being made so cheaply.Why do we have to pay and not Ford?They should fix it for free
