Made Some Modifications to the truck in the last couple weeks.

Also put in a CD radio, 4 speaker and a Sub Box (Built myself)

Still need to put in the CB radio and maybe redo the carpet again.

as for mechanics, still need to redo the exhaust system from the headers back, Too many turns and leaks.

Cool, I see you didnt waste any time getting that top off either :-X22

Jdenninger 08-29-2004 07:52 AM

JD - the truck is looking good!! What is nexted on the mod list after the cb, carpet, and exhaust?

Jdenninger 08-29-2004 06:31 PM

Maybe some paint?????? but before all that i now have to do the radiator. it sprung a leak today. Bummer.

Ronin007 08-29-2004 08:06 PM

I feel for you. I always hate it when you have planned out to do a mod on the truck and you have to alter your plans due to a breakage or failure of some kind.

79 Trailer Special 08-29-2004 09:33 PM

If it was not such a pain to remove by myself mine would prob be off alot more n also. With my crazy work schedule its hard to get help at times. A soft top would be nice, maybe next year.
My rad went south recently also. got out the solder but every time one area got fixed another went bad. Finally got it to hold but I dont trust it any more so Im gonna order one of the big Modine radiators. It has held up since the Bloomsberg jamboree but ya know what they say......it will let loose at the worst time.

Jdenninger 08-30-2004 03:42 PM

Rick, what did you use to solder your rad. i might try that to get me by for a few weeks

79 Trailer Special 08-30-2004 04:39 PM

Same stuff you would use to sweat pipes under your sink. Propane torch, flux, solder and a wire brush or fine sandpaper. Where is it leaking from the tank or the core it self?

Jdenninger 08-30-2004 05:04 PM

about 3-4" from the bottom of the core. i have everything to sweat copper pipes. maybe i'll give it a crack.

Jdenninger 08-30-2004 05:06 PM

found out LMC carries a replacement rad for 215 delivered in 3-7 days(ground). is there anybody around here that has them for about the same price or less.
