Myth or Fact

A few buddies of mine were talking the other day about gas. Seeing how gas prices are well over 2.00 a gallon now, someone said that mobile gas last longer than Hess or any other gas, it cost a little bit more but i lasts longer. I dont see how this is possible i always thought that all gas is the same it just has a differant name on it. Anyways several people i talked to swear that mobile gas lasts longer than other gas, is there any fact to this or what?

Shell is the company that states right in their commercial that you get better mileage with Shell gas than any other. I have no complaints with Shell. Mobil/Exxon is also top of the line fuel. The Mobile station in my town is the lower of the name brands....often by more than 10 cents a gallon.
We have a few newly changed stations.....now PowerFuel stations. The pumps say the gas has Techron, leaving it to be Chevron gas.....but 10-15 cents lower than the Chevron station outside of town. My truck gets picky, and doesnt like cheaper gas....but that PowerFuel stuff runs just fine.
To add to your question........I do seem to get a little better performance from Exxon/Mobil than any others. :-blah

Well, in Canada we got Shell, PetroCanada, Esso, Mohawk, Husky and Chevron. In my truck, I seem to get the best mileage out of Chevron.
