400 for sale--any offer
 

I recently pulled my 400 out of my 79 250 because i was having problems with it, i have a 429 at the shop, being prepped to go in it now and i am looking to sell my 400. I pulled the engine, took it apart and inspected it, all that ended up being wrong with it is that a valve came apart from the spring in the head, and hit the #1 piston, scaring to the piston is very minimal, barley noticable, the cylindar has no damage, neither does the rest of the engine,.It is completely apart right now, and in the back of my truck, covered completely with a tarp, so i am saying it is a builder. If anyone has any questions, or is interested in purchasing this motor, please contact me thru my contact info here on FTE. The motor is complete, and has a brand new starter, and a brand new water pump, it comes with an edelbrock performer 400 intake, and no carb( i am keeping the carb for the 429).
