Superchips Microtuner on more than 1 vehicle

I've read some posts explaining the use of Superchips Microtuner on more than one vehicle, but still have a couple of questions.

1. I took my truck in for service and had to return it to the original stock program - now I want to put my Superchips program back into the truck. The directions state that once you return the original stock program to the truck, it won't remember that program again. Does that mean I can't put the Superchips program back in and then return it later to the origianl stock program?

2. I have two 7.3's - one a '96 and one a 2000. There are times I want to use the other truck to tow with (ONLY ONE TRUCK WILL BE USED AT A TIME). Can I use the Superchips on the '96, return it to the original stock program, and then use the Superchips on the 2000? Then can I take it out of the 2000 and put it back into the '96?

Any clarification would be helpful.

Thanks,
Jerry

yes, return it to stock and thats the program it uses until you program it again. you can use it on the 2000 after you put the 96 to stock, at least I know that the gas tuner is useable on 96-2003 v8/v10 engines. just return the program to stock and go to the the next truck and plug it in.

Thanks for the reply ssn randy.

OK, but just to clarify - I can then go back to the '96 after I use it and remove it from the 2000 - is that right? And then again, return the '96 to stock and go back to the 2000.

Anyone else have specific info on Superchips Microtuner 1705 for diesel?
Thanks,
Jerry

Yes..... it can be used on any number of vehicles, but only one at a time. Switch any truck back to stock and you can program another with it.

Webmaster:

Thanks - it can be rather confusing. I appreciate the help.
