valves noise
 

I have a 53 that i have tryed to adjust valves but its still noise. its got the 6cyl 215. i have an original book that says .015 lash on warm engine. i tried that still noise so i went to .013 still noise. is this just the nature of the beast or is there another spec. also i have a one barle holley carb that needs help has anyone rebuilt one and had good luck or should i go for a rebuild. thanks for any advise.

its possible u have a bent push rod. how's the oil pressure?and what grade of oil r u runin? if noise is there all the time hot or cold maybe worn lifter springs. LET ME KNOW !!!!!!! YUKON BL
