Chimes 5 times- No warning lights???
 

When I first turn on or start my 1999 F-350 Diesel, I here a chime 5 times over and over a few times then it stops. May do this again later as driving. No indicator lights or warnings. The lights all check out on start up. What the heck is goin on???

That is your friendly reminder to fasten your seat belt. The next time it happens, push the belt release button on the driver's belt. The chime should stop.:-X22

Nice Try...
As I am reading my owners manual, I see this is a warning for the SRS system. Any ideas where to start troubleshooting would be helpful.

:-X22First of all, go to your Owner's Manual. If that doesn't fix the problem, try this: 1.) Turn the ignition switch to the RUN (or ON) position. (DO NOT START THE ENGINE)
2.) WAIT UNTIL THE SAFTY BELT WARNING LIGHT TURNS OFF. (APPROXIMATLY 1-2 MINUTES). Steps 3-5 MUST be completed within 60 seconds or the procedure will have to be repeated.
3.) Buckle then unbuckle the safty belt three (3) times, ending with the safty belt unbuckled. This can be done before or during Belt Minder warning activation.
4.) Turn on the parklamps/headlamps, turn off the parklamps/ headlamps.
5.) Buckle then unbuckle the safty belt three (3) times, ending with the safty belt unbuckled.
After step 5 the safty belt warning light will be turned on for three (3) seconds.
6.) Within seven (7) seconds of the safty belt warning light turning off, buckle then unbuckle the safty belt. This will disable Belt Minder if it is currently enabled, or enable Belt Minder if it is currently disabled.
7.) Confirmation of disabling Belt Minder is provided by flashing the safty belt warning light four (4) times per second for three (3) seconds.
8.) Confirmation of enabling Belt Minder is provided by flashing the safty belt warning light four (4) times per second for three (3) seconds, followed by three (3) seconds with the belt warning light off, then followed by flashing the safty belt warning light four (4) times per second for three (3) seconds again.
9.) After receiving confirmation, the deactivation/activation procedure is complet. Have Fun! These Procedures are directly from the Ford Owner's Guide so all credits apply to FMC respectfully.:-X17
