Lifted my 96 long bed with three guys - I was on the front, one on each corner of the back (WIMPS!) I would guess it around 375 lbs without the tailgate.

As for supporting it, you could use sawhorses placed so they run the same direction as the frame would or use cinder blocks if you only want it a bit off the ground. If you are going to be working on it, I would use two sawhorses on each side so it will be stable. I personally prefer wood against the underside, less scratching and possibility of rust down the road.

The bed will weigh about 200# without the tailgate! 2 people can carry the bed, but it realy requires 3 to remove and re-install!

If you have a good tree, tripod or "A" frame, you can lift it up by yourself!

Wow I guess these beds are light. On my '77 Chevy long bed, it took 4 guys to flip it upside down and heave it up on top of the bed that was already on the truck. Of course the truck had 9 inches of lift. We carried it home by putting wood in the stake pockets of both beds to lock them together and roped it down tight. I stored it upside down in the back yard untill I got a chance to change out the beds.
