We might lose the WV chapter!

Everyone, If we don't start taking a more active part in this chapter it may be closed! Ken has put out a thread that says if we don't elect a chapter leader and have our first online meeting before June 1st this chapter will be closed. And so will all the other chapters on the site that doesn't do the same. If no one wants to be the chapter leader please let me know I will do it. But we need to have an election.
I've worked very hard to get this chapter started and I don't want to see us lose it, so PLEASE HELP me keep it going by participating in the chapter.
I started a thread some time ago on the chapter leader, so please use that thread to nominate a leader.

Thanks, Fitter

Hey fitter565, just stopped in to say hi.. It would be a shame to lose something that you just got started. You'll live in a great state. I get there 6-8 times a year. If it wasn't for my job I would move there. I have alot of family still in WV. My grandmother was born in Parsons. So I spent many of summers as a kid playing in the Cheat river. Good luck, I hope you guys can keep it going....

Fitter if you need any help with this let me know via email. I would be glad to help you out with it. I to would also hate to see it be deleted. I check it normally 2-3 daily but haven't seen much posting these days. Let me know what you want to do!!!!!

JD, Welcome to FTE and the West Virginia chapter. Tell all your friends about the chapter and keep on posting, That seems to be our biggest problem, getting people to take an active part in the chapter, so your already helping (Thanks).

I am in Charles Town. I have an 88 STX Ranger and a 79 F-150 Supercab 4x4. It would be great to see resources in WV for parts etc. I am looking for a Rear Bench seat, Emergency Brake Ratchet amonst other things.

Hey, just stopping in to say hi from the Iowa chapter. I know how hard it was to get the Iowa chapter going, but we managed. Alot of it was cause of fellro86..you might ought to give him a PM or email - he could give you some tips on it. Once you get things going though, the members will flock in if you do things right. He's gotten alot of help from the Montana boys...and he might be able to pass that on to you. Good luck.
