1995 f-250 superduty tcc solinoid replacement
does anyone know which of the solinoids in the transmission is the tcc solinoid? on other ford trucks it seems to always come as a set.. same here?? Also if not econnoically replacable can the tcc solinoid be temp disabled to allow for use of the veh??

The solenoid pack is replaced as a set. If failed off, there should be no drivability problem, just a flashing light on the shift lever and reduced highway fuel mileage. If failed on, it you have to get it fixed. This is done in the vehicle, so labor charges should not be very much. I would do all of the diagnosic checks, not just dump computer codes, before replacing an expensive component.
