Question about Suspension Lift kits..
I have a 01 F250 Super Duty Diesel 4 x 4..........
I am located in Maryland...and supposedly the law regarding lifts is 28inches from bottom of bumper to the ground. I am considering doing a 6 inch Edge lift kit with 35s, 6s, or 7s but dont want to be so far over limit the second it goes on i get pulled over. ..So Anyone out there with the same or similar truck can give me honest true measuements on front and rear bumpers just so i know what i woudl be looking at and decide from there. Also those with 4 or 4.5 inch lifts with 35s same thing.... Thanks for all help. Tony |
Hey Silver. I have a 01 also an I put a 4" Superlift on mine. I have 35's on it to. I went an measured an on the front bumper, from the ground to bottom of bumper measuring right in front of license plate is 241/4" and in the rear is 251/2" from ground to bottom of rear bumper. Hope this helps. Good luck on your lift install.

I'm in MD. I know a guy with a SD and an 8" lift with 38s, and my friend has a old style 250 with a 6" lift and 36s. Neither have had any problems. The cops around here (locally) don't care about lifted trucks. Just my $.02.
