How to post a picture

Well, I'm not too computer savy, but Iwould like to get a photo of my 1941 on the gallery, but I can't seem to find any instructions on how to do it. Maybe I don't know where to look on the gallery, but I didn't see instructions, and a FAQ search left me bewildered. I do have a scanner, but I've only used it to e-mail documents. Could someone please give detailed instructions on how I do it, and remember I know nothing , so the more detailed the better. Thanks!

Sam, when you scan, does it give the option of what you are scanning? For instance, when I scan an item, it'll ask me if it is a picture, mixed graphic, text documnet, etc. If it does, select picture. If not, try scanning, and see what it does with the scanned image. I would assume it would either go to the My Pictures folder, or a program to do any editing. Just make sure that the picture is saved to the My Pictures folder. Then go to the User CP at the top of this page, and click it, then click edit my gallery on the left hand side. You should be able to edit your gallery and at the bottom you click the browse button, that'll pull up all the pictures on your comp and you can select the picture you want to upload. After you find all pix you want to upload just click the upload button. That should put all your selected pictures into your gallery. Hope this helps you out. :)
