Legal Four wheeling spots
 

Hey guys does anyone know of any legal four wheeling trails around the meriden area of CT? Thanks for your time.

umm i dont think there are any bigf150..i dont live far from you im in north haven.i see some dirt bikes in the sand pit there near the meriden airport but they have all that sand up near the street so people like us cant get in.But the dirt bikes can go in and the cops dont care. But if we were in there i bet they would get pretty mad.go figure:-roll .sorry i cant help but the only spots i know of are not legal.I know years ago we use to go behind the game in north haven but i think they have it blocked off now.I know it sux there is no place to go.Hey if you hear of a place though let me know ok?by the way if you know anyone that has 38" 39" or 40" tires for sale for a 16.5 inch rim im looking for some for my truck for a cheap price i hope.lol..my truck looks kinda dumb right now with just the 35s on it :-X09 ..later

They actually started cracking down on the number of dirtbikes in there lately too. I usually go to piska trails in durham there pretty good. Nothing real special though. My trucks actually apart right now i had some major wheel bearing failure x( so i havent been doing much wheeling. We usually go up to durham every weekend. The more the merrier so if you feel like doing a lil wheeling PM me or email me at anthony85stang@aol.com its always a good time.

No its not legal thats the bad thing. But i havent gotten trouble about it yet. Its pretty fun but just pm me one day and i'll give you my email through there. My truck should be done tomarrow so we may go this weekend.

sorry to say but my truck wont be ready this weekend.maybe in a week or so ill have everything done.is there alot of mud on that trail?..

There usually is a good amount. Ive actually gotten stuck headlight deep in a part of the trail :-wow. Its about a 3 mile trail. its pretty fun. Whenever your ready your more than welcome to go with us we usually go every weekend. Were not going till i get a new chain though i broke mine the day i got stuck so i'll just pm you somtime to keep you posted when we go. What you doing to your truck anyways?

something with my 4 wheel is broken.not sure what it is yet.but when im in 4 wheel i get a loud grinding sound and when i take my foot off the gas it gets even louder.im trying to get a buddy of mine to look at it he use to work for a tranny shop.hes pretty busy though so who knows when he will be able too. :-wink

Ugh that sounds sucky. But i'll just private message you every time where gonna go hit up piska trails. We usually meet at my work (Pep Boys in wallingford) and go from there. But i'll let you know when where going. And if your truck is ready you can come along. Its always good to have another ford come along :-X10

Its actually in meriden on the meriden wallingford line The one your talking about is the one i work at.

i was at your store about a month ago i saw a truck parked in the back that was kinda big it was orange is that your truck?...do you have a locker in the back on your truck?what do you have in the front anything?

Hey big150 I was wondering where can I get my 40 inch tires balanced at?All the places I been to don't have a balance big enough for them.I just ordered them so i should have them by next week sometime.tire store in wallingford cant balanace them there machine is to small same with town fair too.where you get you'rs done?thanks!

Nah my truck is blue i got a detriot locker in the rear with 4:10 gears. I balanced my tires at my work they took almost half the rim with weight though. You MAY be able to get them at my work to do it. I dunno though. They'll probaly come out in the garage and ask me if we can do em But if they do take them in i would just drop them off and pick them up later cause they are a task to mount and balance.
