mechanics are agrivating me
OK on February the 13th a friday i bought a 1998 Artic Cat powder special 600 i brought it home road it twice the 3rd time i got 1/2 a mile away from home and it dies and wont start i take it back to the place i bought it he next day i get a phone call telling me hat before i bought it a mechanic worked on it and improperly tighted a bolt, sometime while riding it worked itself loose and destroyed the flywheel and the timing.it took a week to get the parts but another week to fix it, but i didnt pay anything as they meeesed up one good thing. Now i know that buying a sled at the end of the season would get much in but those two weeks had snow when i got it back very little.
and now a second my dad owns a 1961 Chevy grain truck, back in october we took it to our most trusted mechanic a long time family friend employed by the worst business man ever. the hydro-vac was the problem, new problem noone makes parts for this anymore but after a month of searching found someone to rebuild it. fast forward to february im talking to a friends father who has a 60s international truck told me hes had several rebluit hydro vacs on it not one worked the way it should. This starts to worry me Fast forward to today we sell some soybeans over the phone for avery nice price. Problem stilll no truck theyve had the hydrovac back for a month but due to the shops owners son getting devorced theyve had to switch the body shop and repair shop around for some reason. this morning i call to see when the truck will be done "not today buddy maybe middle of this week" the mechanic has been telling me this for 3 three weeks later my dad calls the shop and gets a different story while switching shops the hydro-vac was misplaced! RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
5 months theyve had it i wanna tell them Keep it, and go shopping for another.
