Two problems on my '03 F150, what to do?
I read in previous discussions that some people were having these same problems but didn't seem to get them resolved...
Problem 1: I have an '03 F150 4X4 Sport with only 6k miles on it (bought it three months ago new). Recently there have been a couple times when I start it that a significant amount of blue smoke will come from the exhaust, however it goes away after 10 seconds or so...it has only done this maybe 5 times in the past month...any ideas? Problem 2: On that same truck, I have recently noticed a strange noise when I am inside the cab (I couldn't pinpoint the noise when I was under the hood, not to say that it isn't there though). Anyways, it starts only above 15 mph and around 55 it gets significantly worse...it sounds like a rotational noise, or like moving air (I know, probably not very good descriptions). I know this wasn't there when I bought it, and it is getting annoying...it also seems like I have lost some power, but that just might be my imagination. I took it into the dealer for this problem, and they heard the noise but couldn't figure out the problem...what should I do? Thanks, Dave |
