Wanted: 240 or 300 inline engine

Anyone around the Atlanta metropolitan area have a used but running 240 or 300 inline 6 cylinder engine for sale? I need to replace mine but don't want to install a remanufactured unit if I can help it because I just don't drive the truck enough miles to make it worth spending that kind of money. I could switch to a small block but since I'd like to restore the old beast some day, I'd like to keep it original too. By the way, it's for a 68 which means it's a 1 barrel non-EFI variety. Thanks to any who respond.

Also, if you have any leads on a parts yard where I could get one, that would help too! Just post the name and phone number or address of the place. Thank you!

Both are great, have you found one yet?

Nope... I ended up changing jobs and moving out of my house and to another location here in the big ATL so I put the truck into my storage shed. I guess I'd better get on it though cause I haven't touched the truck since! I'm so bad, ignoring my 'baby' like that :( Anyway... I guess that I was looking to spend $300-$400 tops because thats what I figure a used inline engine with a few miles left on it is worth. Like I said, all I need is a decently running engine thats stock cause I'm not looking to run the Indy 500 or burn the tires off the rear axle. Bone stock is fine with me and always has been. Thanks dude!

I used to own both, and they are tough.......good luck in the search.
