Factory Steel Brake Lines to replace rusted originals?

I recently bought a '97 F-250HD that has corrosion on the brake hard-lines. While I could bend up some replacement line, I'd prefer to purchase pre-bent lines with the nuts, flares and spring-guard in place.

Has anyone bought replacement steel lines from their Ford dealer? Is it going to cost so much that I'll find it cost prohibitive, and just bend up my own lines (like I usually do)?

Also, are there any well-known large Ford factory parts dealers that sell mail-order for a good discount?

You are better off going aftermarket from someone that makes stainless steel lines than buying it from the factory. It will be cheaper and higher quality.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find ANY aftermarket kits for a '97 F250HD. Inline Tube and Stainless Steel Brakes don't list any trucks that new. If I had an '80 F-150, I'd be all set.

So, any recommendations for factory parts? Any online catalogs?

Hey Bob try JC Whitney, I am working on a 90' and they had some hard to come by parts for me. Good Luck
