04 6.0 with 6-23-03 engine build?
 

I have a 2004 6.0 CC with an 03 engine which has a sticker on the left valve cover with the date of June 23 2003 on it. I am assuming this is my engine build date. My question is can anyone tell me if I have the new injectors (C95 I believe) or the old ones (C94 I believe)? I have heard that the major problems with the 6.0's come from the old injectors which are failing.

My truck has been great so far, but I only have 300 miles on it as of yet. I purchased the truck on 12-6-03.

They started putting C95s in on 4-11-03, you should have C95s.

I do not understand this. Why would a 2004 model truck have an engine build date that is ONE DAY after my build date and i have a 2003 truck ? I am confused. rimshoes

My truck build date was 7-03, so maybe that has something to so with it. I am sure my truck was one of the first 04's to be built. I believe I have read where a couple people with truck build dates of Sept and Oct have 03 engines as well, so who knows? Actually I shouldn't say that because I am sure someone here does know...

Job1 for the 04s was July 14. From July 14 to Sept 28 those 04s had 03 engines. From Sept 29 on they get 04 engines.
