rear spring hanger flip question
okay, on my '74 F250 I have changed my rear axle and while it and the springs were out I fliped over the spring hanger bracket as to gain a inch or two in height at the axle. what I would like to know is if anyone else has had any trouble from doing this. the only thing I can see diffrent is the pinion angle is a little different and the shackles are upside down. but still the angle isn't as bad as my F250 4x4's.

A friend of mine did this to his F150 and to my knowledge he hasn't had any problems and it gave him about a 4 inch increase.

hey thanks for the input, by the way your "bandit" looks sweet! its good to see a work truck that will and can still get out there and not worry about a scratch or two! I love it when they look tough. oh, I almst forgot... what brand of body lift did you use? or am I crazy in thinking it has one? I dont remember noticing the two radiator holes as much on mine...
