A gift certificate for Big 5
A gift certificate for Second Amendment Sports
After shave. (I have a beard!)
A nice sweater and a few other goodies.
Oh, and a future son-inlaw.

My daughter brought her boyfiend over. He proposed to her right there in front of the Christmas tree. He gave a little speech on how much he loved her and wanted to marry her. Got down on one knee and everything. She was very suprised! She accepted.

We knew it was comming as a few days before he asked for my permission and blessing over breakfast at a local diner. I said sure. Then he showed me the ring he was going to give her. Very impressive!

Congratulations, DD! For sure this was one Christmas you will always remember. Your new son-inlaw sounds like a pretty good guy.

BTW, I received a tube of shaving cream that doesn't lather. Be happy to foward it to you so you can start enjoying that aftershave, LOL!

Nothing for the Truck. I got my computer parts needed to upgrade my computer from a AMD 2200+ to a Pentium 4 2.8 GHz,new case, motherboard with 800 fsb & the dual channel DDR Ram,2.8 GHz with Hyper Threading. Also this left me with enough extra parts to build my wife one using the AMD 2200+, only thing I had to buy for hers was a new Mag 17" monitor & she bought a computer desk for hers. Even had the hardware sitting in a box to connect both of us up to the DSL & an extra Epson Printer for her. She's Happy & if she's happy I'm happy. Total investment to get both up & running was $550 :-wink
