Finding an old truck???

several years ago my father sold our old 1977 Ford F150, I was mad as heck to put it blindly, and have nothing but the original bill of sale to hold of its time here, the truck was sold to my uncle then not to long ago he traded it for a Volkswagen.
I've questioned him a long time, and I still have the VIN number, and does anybody have access to motor vehicles here in Alberta, cause I'd like to have it back!
the truck was or is a 1977 Ford F150 XLT it was 2wd , 2 tone, dark green with white insert, deluxe trim, cab lights, regular cab, dual gas tanks, automatic tranny, 351 V8, sliding rear window,

It might even be squished into Honda's by now????
But I'd like to think not.
The truck was sold in about 1987 or 88

thank you

Vance

Try being an AMA member then have them trace the vehicle.

They will have the name of the last known owner/registar.

It would be faster if you knew a police officer though.

Go to any registry office, for $10.00(?) they will tell you the last year it was registered and at which office. But not who owns it.
