A questions of heads..Help?
 

I found some heads in an old guys garage today...

Aluminum heads off a flat head of some description
Year unknown.. can anyone tell me something about them?
What they fit, are they good? What they are worth?

New in boxes... old guy got them from a local for dealer eons ago... been sitting as spares.


Ford emplem cast into them
number cast into them is #40-6049A2
21 bolt holes in them

Marc, the number is for 1933,34 stock heads. Both iron and aluminum were produced. Compression ratio was very similar.

Do you have a pair of heads or two for the same side?
If a pair they should be 40-6049A and 40-6050A.

Can't help you on value, sorry.

Will have to check all 4... I have what I thought was two pairs... will check all casting numbers.

Anymore info would be great and
IF anyone needs these let me know as well.
