2010 F-150 4x4 Supercrew Lariat Platinum - 441,548 miles

Hey everyone!

This is my first truck, so I am going to start a thread here for it. I purchased it with the intent to restore it to its former glory. Ill post pictures of what it looks like now and then continue to post pictures of my progress with it.

The engine and transmission were rebuilt a year or two ago, the truck has a total 441,548 miles on it. The previous owner also just installed a new water pump and new leaf springs.

The bed is rusted pretty bad. Still appears salavagable but not sure if I want to do that or just replace the bed entirely. May need some steel beams to place under it.

Had two owners, one was a company up north and the other was the employee for the company who bought it when he left.

It has half of an exhaust. This is an easy fix

Surface rust on the frame, but nothing to be too concerned about. Regardless, I am still going to take the rust off and spray it with some rust inhibitor, then paint it, then hit it with some bar and chain oil to make sure its protected.

The front suspension is rusted like crazy but its still driveable.. for now. The lower control arms are more concerning than anything else.

The previous owner destoryed two deer with it so the front bumper and grille are pretty messed up. The bumper can probably be salvaged if I dont find another in a junkyard.
The grille I just replaced, so it looks pretty nice.

There are random rust spots on the cabin. Definitely bad in some spots, but nothing beyond repair yet.

The seats are pretty messed up, especially the drivers seat. It has a huge hole in it. Not sure if I want to just replace it or fix it. But cosmetic stuff like this is going to happen further into this project.

My list of items needed.
Bumper - if I cant salvage this one
Truck bed - If I cant fix this one
Fuses - Im assuming because some locks work and some other electronics are not working like changing the light color.. - All very minor cosmetic things
Sheet metal for the rust repairs
Midnight Black Paint
Upper and Lower Control arms
Windshield - looks like a small rock hit part of the windsheild, not cracked, just chipped. Would like to change eventually.

Im doing this all on a budget so.. If anyone sees this and lives in Florida and is willing to sell me some parts that would be awesome. I know I am going to be making a lot of junk yard visits!

Drove nearly an hour away to get the grill I wanted.
