VIN#1FDNF60H0CVA10107

85e150 03-07-2023 04:32 PM

1FD = Ford Motor Co USA, incomplete vehicle

N = Class 6, 19,501--26,000 lbs GVWR, hydraulic brakes

F60 = F600, 2WD, gas

H = 370 2V, or 4V, or 2V low compression

0 = Check digit, ignore

C = 1982 model year

V = Kentucky Truck Plant

A10107 = serial number

9A = White

153 = 153 inch wheelbase

F604 = F600 gas, 20,400 lbs GVWR (GVWR also shown on the label)

AT8
AT = Nutmeg all Vinyl ~ Full Width Seat
8 = Conventional Cab

JNA
J = Auxiliary trans or some other option, such as California emissions, not specified in my on-line copy of the MPC
NA = New Process model 435 four speed transmission (Do you have a 4 speed?)

63M
63 = Rockwell (Timken) model F-106 single speed axle, 15,000 lbs capacity, 6.83 ratio
M = Ford 7,000 lb capacity front axle, with power steering

72 = San Jose District Sales Office

No special order, this came out of Dealer inventory. (I can't imagine why they would stock a 4 speed with a single speed axle with the 370 other than to be able to have a low price point)

If something doesn't line up, let me know.

This is the MPC for your year. It is very long with lots of info, unusual for a free, on-line MPC.
