New owner of 56 F100, Going to have a lot more questions!

After posting several questions on this site about this truck and getting lots of good information from many members, I finally pulled the trigger and bought the truck. It was delivered earlier this evening and initial exam is very positive, but there are going to be several issues that will need some TLC and I am sure I am going to have more questions going forward. For tonight...can anybody tell me how I open the reverse tilt hood? I assume they all work about the same regardlless of manufacturer?? I dont see any release inside the cab so far. Thanks everyboidy. John

There is a lever to pull slightly off centre to the drivers side, pull it and lift and pull forward then walk to the side and lift the hood forward. There should be a short rod that slides into a block fastened to the side lip of the hood.

One thing to remember is the hood will contact the grille so be careful when tilting it forward...

Yep! That did it. Thanks everyone. Also, good tip on the warning that the hood will hit the grille. I wouldnt have been aware of that.
