Best custom tunes for 4.6 3v
 

Hello everybody!

My ride is a 2010 FX2 with the 4.6L 3v, and I just here recently acquired a SCT x4 tuner for it. I can already tell with the "canned tune" it came with, the truck already is quicker down low.

That being said, does anybody out there have some tune(s) they would share their experience with? Right now I'm just looking for which company to go with first, and it would be greatly appreciated if I could hear everybody's opinion!

So far I've heard of MPT, 5 Star Tuning and a few others. I read many other posts about SCT tunes, but none of them that I saw mentioned the most modern SCT x4 series tuner or a 4.6L 3v.

If you're looking to do your own custom tuning, SCT offers a Pro Racer option. With it, you'll have the ability to fine tune it because you'll have access many more tables and parameters to dial in the engine and transmission.

You know, I've thought long & hard about going that route. It would be really cool to do that. I probably will get it one day, but the software itself requires a lot of $$$..
