Dana 50 TTB/IFS axle alignment
 

So i have my whole axle ready for re assembly but i got ahead of myself during dis assembly and pulled apart the two piece passenger side axle without making some kind of mark for when it goes back together. Ive been told thats a problem because it was assembled a certain way for balancing and if i put it back together and its off kilter itll hop around and stuff like that. Does anyone know if the two yokes on the axle have to be lined up or perpendicular? Or if it has to be angled just right?

Center section should be lined up...

yup. fixed caps on the axle in line, fixed caps on the short shafts in line
