2020 Q1 (January, February, and March) BS thread
 

New year New Thread. Hope everyone is doing well and having a good time. Things are crazy busy here. Didn't take much time for the Holidays, and what time I did take was mostly spent with the kiddo's. Everything is still going fine, with the pregnancy, and the daughter should be here in about 5 or 6 months or so.

Wait wait wait.... pregnancy? I guess I've missed alot in my absence

so just found out starting on monday and for like the next month my company is sending me into the north end of Raleigh mon-friday... not sure the hours yet (guessing its 7am - 4pm but not 100% yet... they only said that for monday)... but sounded like itll be pretty much during the day and RUSH HOUR traffic... dunno if yall wanna try to meet up or if i can since theyre paying me time and mileage to go... but would be closer to alot of you when im down there to try and make a dinner... will find out more deets when i go on monday...

Being I am on LP now I try and get to work for around 2am so I don't have to deal with some of it as I can plan when & where I go to try and miss it.
But sometimes you cant and you just sit in it like the rest do.

Shawn, There is some great restaurants up that way. An Indian place I used to go out of my way to eat it comes to the top of my mind. We can certainly shoot for a North Raleigh dinner, or some what that direction. Such as Butner or Creedmoore. Let's chat over on the dinner thread.


Larry, Yep. Baby girl on the way. In about 5 months. At 40, this wasn't planned or expected. But we are looking forward to it. And I'm as goofy as can be about it.

ill let you know more when i find out what its going to be like there... only thing ive been told is to show up there tomorrow by 7am... and that im there for a month... im supposed to get more details later.. took a test drive down yesterday to find the place... its looking about a 1:20-1:40 drive for me to get there... (least following my antiquated GPS with its old out of date maps)... everyone at work was telling me to expect bad traffic then.. so will find out... planning to book outta here at 5am tomorrow to be there by 7.. should give me plenty of time to get there...

got some bad news... apparently i wont be able to "meet up" after work... as i have to go back to my regular store to clock in and out...

Well at least you'll get paid for drive times to the separate location. Drive safe and slow.

Anyone going to the Monster truck wars at the Duplin county events center this weekend? We got tickets to the 7pm show, aswell as pit passes for before. Thinking the little one is going to love it.

hey all. glad to be the new guy here. got my new flexplate and starter yesterday evening. once i get work outta the way today and tomorrow, the real work begins under the truck. i hope to be out from under it come kick off on sunday. looking forward to getting to know you all.. cheers.
