Headlight mounting for 1995 e350
Hi all,
I was installing new lights and on the passenger side and the hardware that holds the light on (composite) fell off the back. I see no way to reconnect this. What do I need to do? I'm not even sure what fell off, it all disappeared somewhere. Thank you! |
i have a '95 e350 but i am not sure exactly what area you are having trouble with. guessing you have the composite h/l (i have the glass version), there are the adjusting screws that each have a tab on the lamp so the heads stay connected to the lamp. the screws go into plastic "nuts" more like threaded grommets that are snapped into the mount which is then attached to the full width panel that holds both lamps & is attached to the core support. it sounds like the tabs on the lamp have broken off. i have no personal experience with composite lamps but as they seem to cloud up anyway, i would hit the JY for glass lens parts for both sides - get some decent lighting as a bonus. just unbolt the assemblies from the full width piece. most of the h'l parts glass and composite are discontinued
