front fender question
I have front fenders off of a '65 F100, and fenders off of my '66 f250, the wheel opening in the 250 fender is considerably longer than the opening in the 100's. Is the difference the year, or the f100-f250?

Covered in post #9 https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...leage-4x4.html for 4x4's, but 2WD F 100's and 2WD F 250's used the large cut out fenders also when a larger optional wheel was ordered when new. '61-'66 F 100's got the larger opening fender when the 17.5" was ordered. '61-'66 F 250's got the larger opening fender when 17" 17.5" and 19.5" wheels were ordered when new.. After a collision repair, small or large fenders have a way of showing up on vehicles that may or may not of have them originally.

ty, my '66 250 came with the 19.5's so that holds true.

Good to know, the set of 36" is real nice, the set of 45" one has a rot hole, but I like them better, I may weld in a patch and use the 45's, it is a 4x4 now so it would also be more correct.
thanx Eric |
