First post, Air conditioned seats work but don't feel air ? '08 EL Limited

Hey guys, first post, used to be very active on mustang sites back in the day. I have tried searching for this issue on this site and others but I do not see anybody with the similar conditions.

The air conditioning works for my seats, the light stays lit on the dash, and I can hear the air being pulled in through the little circular filter portion under the seat. But I just don't feel any air coming up through the seats. Any idea what would be causing this? Something clogged or disconnected perhaps?

Thank you got your replies.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
I have been reading on the forum for a few years and noticed that the seat cooling problems are usually electrical. This is the first air flow problem I have seen regarding air flow.

You may find youtube helpful. They have videos of seat repairs. Look for the ones that the seat is removed because you might see what the seat looks like underneath. Recently I watched a few where they showed how to replace the seat bottom upholstery and pad foam. In this one they even removed the fan housing assembly. Expeditions and Navigators are much the same.
The video was on the SeatShop.com.
Good luck,
Richard

Have pulled out and inspected the filter yet?

Sometimes you have to be patient, response time will vary depending who is or isn't available, or if anyone even knows the answer to your question. Everyone here freely volunteers in their free time.
