Does anyone know if the tail shafts from these two will interchange?

the reason being is when I bought my BII as a roller, it had a R2 in it, bolted to a 13-50(maybe a 13-54) T-case.
I've never seen any adapter advertised to mate the two, which is Why im trying to figure out how the previous owner mated them.
