2019 F350 Super Duty

Been gone for a while but I'm back. I traded in my 2011 F250 Super Duty 4x4 diesel for a 2019 F350 Super Duty 4x4 dually with the 6.7 diesel. Nice truck. Questions, how do you all get the drivers side of the rear 60/40 seat down? (sorry if this has been asked before) And what have all of you done to adapt the standard 2" ball hitches into Ford's 21,000 pound rated hitch that has a 3" receiver? Thanks.

The truck should come with an adapter when you purhased it. Sometimes it is behind/under the rear seat. If not there, go ask the dealer to provide you one. My 2015 came with a sleeved adapter to reduce the 2.5" receiver to a 2" and included the longer retainer hitch pin.

My 2019 6.2L did not come with a sleeve. Amazon and $8 for one that had been returned.

Picked up my 2019 F350 about a month ago and it only came with reducer from 3" to 2.5" as well.....found a Curt Reducer Sleeve Set (3" to 2-1/2" to 2" Shanks, 2 Pieces) with tabs at Home Depot (online) for $29.00.

Back seat is a pain in the a$$ for sure.....here is link to aftermarket part that solves that issue.

You will see the part Ford F-Series Rear Seat Release Kit ($29.00) and there is video how to pull seat down and install the part.

This is a snippet from the 2017 Ford SD order guide. I would hope it applied to the 2018 and 2019 models as it did for the 2017's.

I would still go back to the selling dealer and ask them to furnish the 2 sleeve reducers for the 3" receiver.

I too have a 2019 F350 Crew Cab. Mine did not come with the hitch adapter as Ford no longer supplies them. It's a little tricky to fold down the seat back on rear seat on the driver's side. Here's a video to show you how.

I bought this release strap. Works well.

There is a release but it's tough to get at. Once you get it down, install one of these so you never have to fight again.

After I bought a 2.5 equalizer and Anderson rapid hitch I came up with the why not replace with standard 2” receiver hitch, would have been cheaper from etrailer than new stingers. At least for the equalizer hitch, I didn’t like the idea of spacer/adapter there when towing travel trailer.
